All towns in Western Water's service region are reminded that Stage 3a water restrictions are in force.

Under Stage 3a water restrictions:

• Specified watering days for properties with an even or no street number are Saturday and Tuesday. For properties with an odd street number the specified watering days are Sunday and Wednesday.
• Gardens (excluding lawns) can be watered manually two days a week, but only for two hours in the morning between 6:00am and 8:00am on specified days.
• People aged 70 years and over are able to work gardens manually between 8:00am and 10:00am without an exemption on their specified watering days.  
• Lawn areas must not be watered at any time.
• Vehicles must not be washed at any time, except for mirrors, windows and lights which can be cleaned with a bucket filled directly from a tap. Permanent commercial car washes may operate if they use less than 70 litres of water per wash and in accordance with their Western Water Water Conservation Plan.
