Managing Director, John is responsible for leading and managing the organisation, John is a qualified accountant with more than 26 years experience in the water industry. Appointed Chief Executive of Western Water in June 2002, John leads the organisation in achieving its vision and contributing to a sustainable future.

In 1998, John received the Institute of Water Administration's most prestigious award, the Barry Leach Award, acknowledging exceptional service to the Institute and the Victorian water industry.

Robert Franklin

Robert.jpg    General Manager, Sustainability, Robert's commitment to sustainable land management and community consultation supports our Vision to be a leading service provider, working with our community towards a sustainable future.

A Civil Engineer with almost 30 years experience in the water industry, Robert's responsibilities include planning, design and construction of programs to deliver water sewerage services, including environment improvement programs.

General Manager, Customer and Community Relations, Peter is responsible for delivering customer service outcomes to achieve Western Water's Vision. This includes responsibility for the customer contact centre, communications, metering, billing and account management, property services, community relations, education programs, information technology, business innovation and business continuity.

Peter has more than 30 years experience in the water industry covering areas including strategic planning, drinking water quality and public health, environmental management and industrial waste management. He was previously Technical Director of the Water Services Association of Australia. Peter is currently a Board Member of the Sunbury Community Health Centre.

General Manager, Commercial Services, Les' responsibilities include Finance, Regulation and Renewable Resources which comprises recycled water, biosolids and greenhouse emissions.

Les has more than 16 years of water industry experience. 
His previous responsibilities at Western Water include the development and implementation of the Recycled Water Strategy, Water Plan and Balanced Scorecard (BSC) strategic management tool.
