Situated to the Northwest of Melbourne, just 30km from the city's Central Business District, Western Water service area incorporates parts of Hume City and Melton, Moorabool and Macedon Ranges Shires.

A combination of urban and rural living, our region includes a significant proportion of land devoted to agricultural uses, especially grazing and cropping. Residential customers comprise 94 per cent check of our customer base and rapid housing development continued in our service area this year, contributing to a regional annual growth rate of 4.2 per cent.
