Melbourne Water Community Grants
Applications for the 2009/10 Melbourne Water Community Grants are open until 6 November 2009. Each year, Melbourne Water offers community groups and councils grants to support their work improving the health of land, biodiversity and water resources in the Port Phillip and Westernport region.

Tank A Day
The Tank A Day promotion is designed to help Australian primary schools kick start their water saving journey and educate students about the importance of conserving our precious natual resource. 200 rainwater tanks are on offer for Australian primary schools and only principals can register their school. Smart Water Fund - Round 7
The Smart Water Fund is part of a commitment by the Victorian water industry and the Victorian Government to encourage individuals, community groups, businesses and research bodies to be innovative in devising better ways to use our water resources.
The Fund supports and encourages innovative approaches to water recycling, water conservation and sustainable biosolids management that will help secure our water resources now and for the future. It is open to everyone - individuals, community groups, business, research and development organisations and industry.

The National Solar Schools Program is giving Australian schools a head start in tackling climate change and conserving our precious water supplies. The program offers grants of up to $50,000 (GST exclusive) to install solar and other renewable power systems, solar hot water systems, rainwater tanks and a range of energy efficiency measures:
