Do you need help in understanding your Western Water bill?
Below are some explanations about items listed on your bill.

Issue Date
Western Water issues three accounts per year. The billing periods are:
1 July - 31 October
1 November - 29 February
1 March - 30 June

The issue date, which appears on your bill, is the date the account was sent to you.

Date Due
This is the date by which you should pay the account. If you cannot pay by this date please call 1300 650 422 and speak to one of our customer service representatives.

Total Amount Due
This represents the total amount due, being charges for the period plus any amounts owing from previous periods.

Account Enquiries
If you have an inquiry please call a Customer Service Operator on 1300 650 422 at the cost of a local call.

Concessional Amount Due
If you have a concession card this is the amount you pay. It does not apply to customers who are on a pension (aged or disability). Charges
Water Service Availability Charge: This is a fixed charge for accessing the water service.
Sewer Service Availability Charge: This is a fixed charge for accessing the sewer service.
Water Usage Charge: This is a usage charge based on the quantity of water delivered to your property.
Rebate: Any rebate due to a pensioner concession or refund agreed by Western Water.

Current Charges
This represents the charge for the four-month period

Total Amount Due
Represents the total amount due, being charges for this period
