The Victorian Government is working to secure Melbourne's water supplies for the long term, but while this work is underway, we need everyone to save water.

Target 155, announced on Monday 24 November 2008, aims to achieve similar household water consumption levels to Stage 4 Water Restrictions, but gives you more control over how you achieve your savings.

Every Melburnian is being asked to take part in Target 155, this means use no more than 155 litres per person per day. The target in conjunction with 3a water restrictions, still provides residents with some choice on how they can save water such as shorter showers so you can keep watering your plants.
