Monitoring your water quality
In order to ensure a high quality of drinking water supply, water quality monitoring and testing takes place at every stage of the supply system.
Undertaken by independent Accredited laboratories, your water supply is tested for over 50 different characteristics, including taste, colour, odour, micro-organisms and chemical content.
We report monthly water quality results for the following characteristics:
- Turbidity
- Aluminium
- E.coli
- Chloroacetic acid
- Dichloroacetic acid
- Trichloroacetic acid
- Trihalomethanes (THMs)
